It sits next to every comment you leave, every connection request you send, and every time somebody looks you up before a call. Same photo on your company bio, your conference program, your X profile. Most people choose it once and never think about it again.
It’s also the hardest crop. LinkedIn and most platforms render it small and round, so a photo that looks fine at full size can fall apart at the size anyone actually sees it. Framed chest-up and face-dominant, it survives the circle. Framed wider, it doesn’t.

Peter even has a name for it, picture avoidance syndrome, and he’ll tell you it’s rampant. But when someone says they aren’t “photogenic”, what they usually mean is they don’t look confident in photos. That isn’t a fixed trait. It’s a set of small adjustments nobody has ever shown them.

What to expect during your Corporate Headshot Photoshoot

We’ll guide you through the shoot, and pull authentic expressions out of you. You’re not expected to know how to do any of this walking in.
We review the images together
Images appear on screen as we shoot, so we can address issues as they arise and see what’s working while there’s still time to get more of it.
You choose the photos you want to keep
You only pay for the images you want to keep. If you can’t decide on the spot, an online gallery can be provided at an additional fee.
Common Business Headshot Questions
How much is a corporate headshot session?
Sessions start at $500. Final retouched images start at $150 each – View Rates
Why are images priced separately from the session fee?
The session fee covers the shoot itself: direction, lighting, multiple looks, and on-the-spot image review. Each image you choose to keep is purchased separately and includes professional retouching and final delivery one week after selection. You only pay for images you’ll actually use, and each one is delivered fully prepped for production.
Can you shoot on-location at our office?
Yes. We are available for on-location shoots.
What is the cost for a multi-location team shoot?
Contact the studio with your locations, head count, and project details. We will discuss logistics and come up with a quote for your project. We will then assign a network photographer in each city, brief them on the look, and hold final retouching to a single standard. Files match across every office: same lighting, same editing standard.
What should I wear for my headshot photo shoot?
Bring a range of options. For corporate sessions: jacket/shirt/tie combinations for men, blouse/dress/jacket combinations for women. Keep jewelry minimal. We have a steamer in the studio for any wrinkles. If it’s not there we can’t shoot it, so it’s always better to err on the side of caution and bring it.
Do you provide hair and makeup?
Hair and makeup aren’t included in the session fee but are available at the studio as an add-on. Strongly recommended for women. Light grooming for men is available on request. – View Rates
