Having received his first camera for his high school present in 1990, Todd never looked back and turned professional after leaving Carleton University with a bachelor of Journalism in 1994. Since then he has photographed communications and publishing projects throughout British Columbia for commercial clients as diverse as Concord Pacific, Army and Navy, and Edge Water Casino.
"Being a location enthusiast actually means I get to shoot most things outside of a studio", Todd says. Over the course of his career Todd has photographed architecture and religious festivals, heavy industry and musicians at work and many other subjects.
Above all though, photographing people is his forte when working on location. Todd's professionalism and easygoing nature enables him to communicate well with people and capture their true character. As Todd says, "creating and capturing an emotion which provokes a response in the viewer is an awesome feeling."
With Todd's reputation growing it is inevitable that you will see his work and enjoy the wonderful emotions his images bring.
